The Pickleball Vietnam Masters Petrolimex Cup 2025 officially concluded on the afternoon of November 30, 2025, at the D-Joy South Saigon complex in Ho Chi Minh City, following six days of spirited competition featuring over 1,000 domestic and international athletes.

On behalf of Petrolimex leadership, Management Board member Tran Tuan Linh presents VND1 billion ($38,000) to support residents suffering from natural disasters in the Central and Central Highlands regions

The Vietnam Masters Petrolimex Cup 2025 is more than just a mere sporting competition, it serves as a powerful catalyst for the pickleball movement in Vietnam—a sport that is currently booming across numerous provinces and cities nationwide.

Furthermore, the partnership with Petrolimex as the title sponsor has significantly elevated the tournament’s stature, providing the resources necessary for the Organising Committee to expand its scale, upgrade facilities, and enhance the quality of media and promotional activities. With professional organisation and the participation of elite athletes from both Vietnam and abroad, the tournament delivered top-tier competition and spectacular rallies that left the audience filled with excitement.

The event is expected to become a vital springboard for Vietnamese pickleball to accelerate its professionalisation, aiming for high achievements in major regional arenas.

Beyond the competitive matches, this year’s tournament also left a lasting impression through its community fundraising initiatives. During the programme, Petrolimex donated VND1 billion ($38,000) to support residents in the Central and Central Highlands regions who were severely impacted by the heaviest floods in decades. By implementing these timely support programmes, Petrolimex continues to demonstrate the spirit of social responsibility and sharing that is deeply rooted in all of the Group’s activities.

As part of the tournament's activities, Petrolimex aimed to foster humanitarian values, compassion, and the spirit of sharing by launching a donation drive to support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions, as well as other areas recently affected by floods. This spirit of sharing, a beautiful core value of sports, is intended to spread further throughout the pickleball community and society at large, through public contributions made via official channels such as the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other authorised organisations.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Tran Tuan Linh, a member of the Petrolimex Board of Management, extended his sincere congratulations to the Organising Committee for staging such a professional, large-scale, and enthusiastic event. 'We particularly appreciate D-Joy's efforts in bringing pickleball closer to the community and contributing to the elevation of the sports movement in Vietnam,' he stated. He also noted that Petrolimex was honoured to serve as the title sponsor and reaffirmed the Group's readiness to continue its partnership with the tournament in future seasons. Furthermore, he expressed his hope that each tournament would serve not only as a competitive arena but also as an occasion to connect, spread a positive spirit, and create more development opportunities for the youth, professional athletes, and the national sports movement as a whole.
